| The Montreal Association for the Blind (MAB) is a private, non-profit rehabilitation centre serving blind and visually impaired people of all ages. The mission of the MAB as a rehabilitation centre, according to Quebec Health and Social Services legislation, is: "to offer adjustment, rehabilitation and social integration services to people ... (who) require such services, as well as support services for their families, friends and those who accompany them." (An Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services - Section 84) |
