| The Conseil patronal de l'environnement du Québec (CPEQ), which encompasses businesses and industrial associations, was created in 1992 at the instigation of the Conseil du patronat du Québec in order to respond to the need, frequently expressed by businesses, to have their voices heard in a unified, coherent manner, and to coordinate their actions with respect to environmental matters. |
