The Alexander von Humboldt School, situated in the outskirts of Montréal, is the only German language day school in Canada and one of a network of approximately 160 similar schools scattered throughout the world. Since it was founded as a primary school in 1980, it has grown significantly and now has over 250 students from Kindergarten through to Secondary 5. A quarter of our staff come from Germany and the German government finances part of the school's operating costs.
